Hair Color Trends for this Summer 2024

Summer is around the corner, and with that comes our hair appointments. I know some people care about "The Summer Body'', but honestly we care about Summer's hair. That's why we want to give you the best summer inspiration to show to your hairstylist in your next appointment at the salon chair.

First, we must remember the most important question for your hairstylist: Do you use the ColorCoach App to formulate, if the answer is Yes, then you have nothing to worry about, but in the opposite case we recommend you to know how important it is to formulate correctly before any colorimetric change in your hair, because even if we want to look like the inspo photo on Pinterest, all hair is different.

Now if we go with the important thing, the inspiration, of course, we have many trends this year, but fortunately, not all of them include such drastic maintenance, so let's start analyzing our first hair trend of this summer 2024

CHERRY RED HAIR

Like everything in fashion and trends, as it goes, it comes back, and this color was no exception, I remember this time between 2002 and 2005 when this color was present everywhere, and it gave everyone the confidence and sensuality they didn't know they had, that's why we LOVE so much that this color is back in trend. One of the most captivating things about this color is how vibrant it is, so if you are one of those who like to turn heads and are not afraid of attention when you go somewhere, this color is definitely for you.

This color differs from the common red color because it has a lot of deep purple as an undertone, which makes the contrast much more intense, without being shocking. So the best thing for this hair is to maintain it with special products made for color-treated hair.

SANDY BLONDE

If you are a true Swiftie, you know very well what we are talking about, this color is as dense and pure yet shiny as thick desert sand, hence its popular name, with varying shades of mixed browns and highlights that give natural dimension to your original color without being manipulated with so much chemical. This is a very affordable look to maintain without being so abrasive and in turn can stay beautiful for a longer period.

MICROLIGHTS

If you are someone who likes to add dimension to your natural color and beautify your hair by giving it a touch of highlights to eliminate the flatness and dullness of a single color. This technique is often used on more textured hair and the result is so natural that no one would believe your hair was manipulated. Our favorite is when you take someone's natural or virgin hair and give it a little more tone, dimension, and color without looking so obvious. Best of all, it's zero pain in the pocket to maintain.

It's also ideal for those of you who have long been afraid of bleaching or mistreating your hair in general, this can be your test to slowly dare to do more.

BRONDE

I think no shade screams RICH AND LUXURY more than this "bronde" trend, it is a very easy color to adapt to almost any skin tone and any season as this style is very versatile to accommodate either with balayage, ombre, or even shadow roots. The perfect thing about this trend is that it allows you to be more versatile when it comes to adapting it, let's say you want to brighten your color without looking like you want to be blonde, or suddenly you'd like to intensify the blonde with darker tones. It's also perfect for those lighter brunettes who like more gold in their hair without looking like they are blonde, keeping the brunette in their hair.

This is a trend that you can do both warm and cool depending on your complexion and what you're looking for, making it an amazing way to cover gray hair. It's also one of those shades that you can do as low maintenance or high maintenance as you prefer.

EXPENSIVE BRUNETTE

Imagine a color that you can adapt to your natural light base, adding honey colors at the end, in a way that looks like you were born with the perfect hair color and genes from Haylie Bieber and Sofia Richie because that's what this color feels like, warm, luxurious but low maintenance as we love it. This color started to take off last fall and winter, but it managed to sneak up on influencers so much that we saw more and more brunettes looking to go for something lighter and more illuminated without having to drastically subdue their hair.

Of course, this trend is quite particular, so your colorist must evaluate your base color very well, as its variation can be infinite if this step is not considered, the idea is to create a very clean shine using techniques that blend well with your hair without looking over bleached.
